Cast iron pan
- 4 slices of lean high quality bacon diced (ex. Hemplers)
- 1/4 onion diced
- 2 lbs brussels sprouts prepped and cleaned
- salt and pepper to taste
- In a large cast iron pan cook diced bacon on medium heat. When cooked all the way through. Add onion and sprouts. Saute for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. I wait about 7-8 minutes to stir because I like my brussels sprouts crispy.
